We have been at Fairchild AFB for 3 1/2 years. It is not a bad place to live. The winters are very long though! There are lots of things to do in Spokane and Spokane Valley. It is a beautiful place out here and have often heard it referred to as ?¢‚Ǩ?ìGod?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s Country?¢‚Ǩ¬ù because of its beauty. Despite what you may hear it does not rain everyday here! The summers are very sunny and usually quite dry.

all around a great family base. we have lived here for 4 yrs and are currently in the process of pcsing to another base. our experience here was enjoyable but if you hate snow and long winters this is not where you want to be .both my husband and I are from the south and are glad to be going back.
